I am a Senior Lecturer in the College of Business at Technological University Dublin (Ireland). I also work as a financial trainer and consultant. I hold a PhD and an MS.c in Finance from University College Dublin and a BBS(Finance) from Dublin City University.
My research interests are varied and focus on sustainability and energy economics, risk management, and in areas that relate to the interaction between financial and economic data with non-financial data and associated policy implications. I am also interested in practitioner research, experiential learning and whether/how research can inform and help develop management and decision making.
My work has been published in several journals including Social Science and Medicine, Energy Economics, Energy Journal, Energy Policy the International Journal of Finance and Economics, The Journal of Futures Markets, The Journal of Risk, and The European Journal of Finance as well as book chapters and articles in practitioner journals.
